Overview
Uninstall any previous BETA installations before installing BETA 3!
Upgrades between BETA versions are NOT supported, if this is a must consult the Forum!
Archetype is a Personal Blog & Photo Album Management System. It will make having a web journal (weblog or blog) and photo album easier to have and maintain for anyone. Below are some of the features added or updated in BETA 3.

This will be the final BETA release, unless we find significant enough bugs to warrant another BETA. You can expect one more test release (Release Candidate 1) before general release on 6/17/2004 so donÆt hesitate to get your feedback on the forums.

NOTE: You should allocate appropriate space for Images/WebLog entries.
Installation Instructions
Installer: Recommended for local machine testing or easy installs on local servers.
Run the installer in the release -> setup folder to install on your local machine.
NOTE: You will need an active internet connection to request a license with the application in the installer!
NOTE: Ensure the ./config/ folder is marked with write permissions; same applies for any album folder if you use the uploader or deleter.
Manual Install: Recommended for testing on your webhost or advanced installs.
Copy the files from the Release -> Manual Install folder to a folder on your web server (refer to documentation to determine where this location is). You will also have to mark the folder as an application in IIS (refer to your webhost's documentation or IIS documentation on how to do this).
NOTE: You will need a license to run this application you may obtain one at http://www.thinkist.net/temp/pskeymaker/

Control Panel Default Login
You should enter the control panel IMMEDIATLY after installing this BETA (./admin/ (. = the location on your server where you installed the application)) and delete the Test account and create a new one (Create a new account first!).

Reporting Bugs
All bug reports are to be filed on our Forum (http://www.thinkist.net/support) in the following format.
The subject of the message should be in this order NEW-BUG MINI DESCRIPTION-PAGE
Example: NEW-GIF Images Wont Load-PicView.aspx
Please keep the Mini-Description as short and to the point as possible.
The Message Body should contain the following information.
Personal Site Version Information (Found at the bottom of pages, as well as the top of the Read Me file)
A link to the problem (if possible, optional)
Server Specs (if known, or web host name)
A full description of the problem (Give a more descriptive overview of the problem)
A Step By Step Reproduction (try to tell us how to reproduce the problem)
A copy of the error log (in the applications config folder)

I canÆt see .gif images even though I placed them in the albums folder.
You can reproduce it by placing .gif images in the folder but they wonÆt show in AlbumView.aspx
Following those guidelines will make the process smoother for all of us; feature ideas are welcome as well.
